I would like a refund or replacement on all/part of my order

If you would like to return part or all of your order from within the EU, or if you have received a faulty item, please email us via customerservices@planksclothing.com.

Please include the long order number on your packing slip or dispatch emails when returning a product, along with your return reason. A member of our Customer Service team will aim to respond within 48 hours to assist with your return and provide full instruction on how to proceed.

We will refund any product that you are not completely happy with as long as you return it to us in a saleable and unused condition. Full priced items can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of receipt of the order, and sale items within 14 days. Outside of these time periods, unless for a faulty item, you will receive store credit for the value of the return.

Please make sure item labels are left intact and returned in their original packaging.

T&C’s apply:

    • Items must be in the condition they were received in, including all bags, tags and labels left intact.
    • Full-priced (non-sale) items can be returned up to 30 days from receipt of the order in a saleable and unused condition.
    • Sale items can be returned up to 30 days from receipt of the order in a saleable and unused condition.

Refunds will be made back to the original order payment method. This may take up to 10 working days from receiving the return. Once the refund is processed you will receive a notification via email and after this point, if you need to chase the payment, please get in touch with the company/bank you used to pay for the order.

Please note:

  • We cannot process the refund until we receive the returned products so we recommend using a tracked/insured service, please keep proof of postage.
  • Orders made online cannot be returned to our stores.

I have been sent the wrong item

If you have been sent a different item than ordered, please contact customerservices@planksclothing.com and a member of our team will assist you in getting the right gear.

Can I return an item for an exchange instead of a refund?

We're not able to offer an exchange on returned items and all returned items will be refunded once they've been received by our warehouse. If you need a different size or colour of an item, then you'll need to place a new order. 

All returned items will be inspected upon arrival. If our Quality Control team are unhappy with the condition an item has been returned in (e.g. tags have been removed or there are signs of wear) and we’re unable to put it back into stock, we may not be able to accept your return and we may have to send it back to you.


Repairs and Warranty

All Planks products carry a 2-year manufacturers warranty, this warranty covers material defects and manufacturing defects.

This warranty can only be covered if the original purchase receipt can be shown. Handwritten receipts will not be accepted. Alteration of Planks products will void warranty. Should any garment’s key features or functions fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair it without charge or provide a replacement.

Our first option is always to repair the garment. If it is not repairable, we will gladly replace it. Please understand we may be out of stock or no longer carry that particular product style or colour, therefore we will offer a full refund of the price paid.

Rips and tears in the fabric are not covered under warranty. Even though our products are manufactured to the highest possible standards, and are well taken care of by the owner; normal wear and tear as well as unforeseen accidents are unavoidable.


  • Defective sewing
  • Defective zippers and attachment hardware
  • Velcro patches
  • Snaps
  • Missing or broken drawstrings, cords, and leashes.

Not Covered

  • This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear on the product.
  • This warranty does not cover you falling on a rail, snagging your clothing on a tree branch, slicing your pant leg with your ski edge.
  • This warranty does not cover any defect resulting from improper washing, drying, and/or detergents.
  • This warranty does not cover the bottom of your pants dragging on the floor.
  • This warranty does not cover beer stains.

If you have purchased Planks product through one of our online or retail partners, we ask that you first contact them for any warranty claims procedures they might have.

Who are Goodloop?

At Goodloop, we love all gear, and even more so the gear that has already been on adventures with you!

We love repairing, customising, improving, transforming, pimping, upcycling all your clothes and giving them an even crazier new life!

Repairing means reducing the consumption of resources linked to the manufacture of new equipment and reducing pollution linked to the textile industry.

Having equipment repaired by a qualified repair craftsman means participating in the local economy, creating jobs and long-lasting social ties.

The Goodloop workshops specialise in the repair and alteration of technical apparel and will be happy to give new life to your outdoor clothing and accessories (and can even transform them into a unique piece, if you let yourself be tempted!)

Usual repair lead times are about 2 weeks (10 working days). Transport to and from the repair centre must also be considered. If we expect the repair to take any longer, our customer service team will contact you directly to provide further updates.


Pro Purchase

Refund, repairs and exchanges.

All sales are final and cannot be refunded.

All Pro Purchase repairs, exchanges and warranties must be communicated online through customerservices@planksclothing.com and will be reviewed case by case. These cannot be made in store unless previously agreed with customer services online. This is considered abuse of the Planks Pro Purchase Programme and will result in termination of Pro privileges.


As a Planks Pro Purchaser it is understood that you will be using your equipment in your place of work, harsher climates, more frequently and are generally more demanding of the gear. As a result, damage due to wear and tear occurs at an accelerated rate. For this reason each warranty case will be reviewed, but Planks reserves the right to deem products unfit for warranty and will not warranty products from previous seasons, or those damaged due to normal wear and tear. 

Terms and Conditions 

Planks reserves the right to change the terms of the Planks Pro Purchase Programme at any point, and to place restrictions on the quantity of products available for purchase.

Planks is committed to being more friendly to the people and planet we love. Where we can we would always prefer to repair your product.  Therefore, if you have a product that could be repaired please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will do our best to fix it. Let’s keep textiles out of landfill and make this planet a better place!

As well as agreeing to the above guidelines your pro purchase order also complies with regular Planks Clothing order terms and conditions

Planks Clothing Ltd reserves the right to retract membership at its discretion and terminate access without explanation or notice if we notice anything deemed as abuse of the Pro Purchase Programme (including if any of the above are breached) or any other reason.

Cancellation Policy

Under EU distance selling rules you have the right to cancel your order without charge at any time up until 14 days after you receive the item. Returned products must be returned in a saleable condition. Please notify us of your wish to cancel by contacting customerservices@planksclothing.com
